The core of our belief system are the 7 Fundamental Tenets. Along with the FAQ, this covers most of what any new Satanist would need to know about The Satanic Temple.
2. Hail Satan? documentary film
This film captures The Satanic Temple as it takes its very first steps into the public eye. It provides an informative and humorous look at TST during some of its most defining and iconic moments.

3. Hail Satan Podcast
“A podcast exploring Satanism, culture, and life in general through the eyes of modern Satanists.” Members of Satanic Delco (and others) provide grounded, informative discussions on a wide variety of topics likely to interest the modern Satanist as well as the curious onlooker.
4. Speak of the Devil by Joseph Laycock
This book provides an exhaustive history of The Satanic Temple. Equal parts history and ethnography, Speak of the Devil is Laycock’s attempt to take seriously The Satanic Temple’s work to redefine religion, the nature of pluralism and religious tolerance, and what “religious freedom” means in America.
5. The Happy Satanist by Lilith Starr
The strength of this book lies in its message of “finding self-empowerment”. It’s a fairly short, easy read, but should come after you have a solid grasp on differences between The Satanic Temple and the Church of Satan.
6. The Devil’s Tome by Shiva Honey
If rituals interest you, this is a great place to start. This book explores non-theistic Satanic ritual as a means for healing, empowerment, and community building. It brings light to what is often a hidden and misunderstood practice and provides insight into how to cultivate your own personal power through Satanism.
